Timothy Westmore

Tim Westmore Photography - Argentum Imago • Still-in-Motion Competitions and Sports • Commercial and Editorial Photography • Photography for the Active Family • Marine Mammals • Archaeology A significant focus of my work is the capture of motion in sports, competitive action, and the natural world. I am keen to create photographs that reflect or convey movement, whether that occurs before, during, or after the shutter opens. I also produce images for commercial and editorial use and can create product images that place an emphasis on their specific purpose or advantage. My other interests extend to marine mammals. This includes the popular Southern Sea Otter (Enhydra lutris nereis), the rebounding population of Humpback Whales (Megaptera novaeangliae), and the spectacularly recovering Northern Elephant Seal (Mirounga angustirostris). I am also a veteran of six archaeology expeditions, digging into cultures such as paleo-Indian (Mammoth Caves, Kentucky), Spice Islands (Banda Neira, Indonesia), Khmer (Ban Non Wat, Thailand), and Rapa Nui (Easter Island, Chile).
